Competition Terms and Conditions

No purchase necessary to enter the competition. 

This competition is open to all people aged 13 years or over. 

Entries must be received by 5pm on 14th November 2010.

The Trib-e accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of posting or sending is not proof of receipt. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid. 

Entries become the property of the Promoter and are not returned. 

To enter, upload your design(s) and fill in your details via the online form found on  www.thetrib-e.com.

For the purposes of voting and previewing on this website, entries uploaded should be:

• Resolution: 72dpi

(If your design is chosen as the winner, you will be contacted again to send over a high-res version.)

You may submit as many designs as you like. However, you can only upload and enter 1 design at a time. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any duplicate designs from the competition. 

Entries will be judged and chosen by all people who registered on the website in order to vote. 

The 100 winning designs will be the ones which receive the most YES votes - classified from 1 to 100 -  with a minimum of 250 votes.

The first one will be the one who received the most YES votes.

There's one 1st prize of £10 000 cash + 20 % royalties on the selling price which would be decided by the Trib-e, and that include all rights. The other 99 winners would received  10% royalties including all right of sales. 

These designs could be use for any apparel and would be sold in the Store on 76 Neal Street, London WC2H 9PL and on the website www.thetrib-e.com

Prizes are non-transferable.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.

The 100 winners will be notified via email. The winners must send their high-resolution image of their design within 96 hours of the Promoter sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.

The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject designs that do not comply with these terms and conditions or which are otherwise vulgar, violent, offensive, pornographic and/or inappropriate. 

By entering this competition each entrant (or their parent/guardian on their behalf) confirms that his/her entry is their wholly-owned creation and to the extent that such entry makes use of any third party materials, including fonts and images, that these have been fully cleared unless they are no longer protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights. Each entrant (or their parent/guardian on their behalf) will keep the Promoter harmless from any claims in relation to their entry that the entry infringes the personal or proprietary right of any other person. 

If your design is selected for sale, then you acknowledge that, in exchange for consideration described, you immediately and irrevocably assign to the Trib-e the entire right, title, and interest in and to the copyright and all intellectual property, 'moral' or other rights in your design, including the right to sue for past infringement and the right to further sublicense the design, for The Trib-e sole and exclusive use to promote The Trib-e and in connection with any of The Trib-e products. You also license us the use of your Designer Name for purposes of promoting your design.

If your design is not chosen as one of the top 100 designs, you could still find yourself amongst the winners as The Trib-e reserves the right to select additional designs and use them  and possibly other products to be sold on its website; if we select your design for sale and it is below the 100 place finisher, we will still compensate you with 10% royalties . If your design is selected, all Terms and Conditions applied to winning designs will apply to yours.

To obtain details of the 100 winners please email competition@thetrib-e.com stating the name of the competition in the subject heading 4 weeks after the closing date. 

The Promoter will use any data submitted by entrants only for the purposes of running the competition, unless otherwise stated in the entry details. By entering this competition, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of this competition and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. 

The 100 winners agree to take part in reasonable post event publicity and to the use of their names, photographs and winning designs in such publicity connected to the event.

By entering the competition each entrant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 

By entering the competition entrants are also signing up to the tribe.com and thereby agreeing to their Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
